- Description
- The Contractor shall provide uniforms and maintenance services, i.e. laundering, pressing, repairs, alterations and additions. This contract shall also include weekly pick up and delivery for USDA, ARS, BARC, Operations & Maintenance Service (17 employees) and Farm Operations Branch (62 employees), BARC-East & West in Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Contract time period will be January 1, 2004 ? December 31, 2004 with 4 options year periods. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812331 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a small business set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about October 17, 2003. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible and qualifying sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due October 31, 2003, 4:00pm. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation with the lowest overall cost to the Government. Anticipated award date is November 7, 2003.
