- The USDA Forest Service, Eastern Region is soliciting quotes for two (2) Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for one (1) base year and a two (2) optional-year renewal period. One helicopter would be utilized and located at various locations within the Eastern Region. The other helicopter would be a shared resource stationed at various locations with the Eastern Region and Intermountain Region. Mandatory performance period will begin field season 2004. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or about October 27, 2003.
