- The government has a requirement for 126 each Part Number 5298, NSN 4810012308565RK Butterfly Valves to support the C-130 Aircraft. Approximate size is 4.10?L X5.0? W X 9.50?H weight is 2.5 lbs. Item controls fuel flow to aircraft engines. Item is predominately made of aluminum alloy. Qualification Requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. Government will not delay award of contract for qualification requirements. Surplus material is acceptable. Surplus must be New and Unused with prior government ownership. See solicitations for additional surplus requirements. Argo Tech Corp Costa Mesa is OEM for this item. This item is a potential Multi-Year contract candidate.
