- NA PROJECT TITLE: Bufferlands Restoration - Mitigation Services. LOCATION: Sacramento County California. TYPE OF AWARD: This IFB is a 100% set aside for Small Business concerns and all responsible (SB) Small Businesses may respond. All bids are due in not later than 20 November 2003/1300 PM. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. This Procurement will be conducted under: FSC Code: F099, SIC Code: 4959, NAICS Code: 562910 The size standard for this code is $12.0 MILLION. Project Description: Provide terrestrial plantings on a site located at the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, Sacramento County. Work to be provided include: native grass seeding on 189 acres, terrestrial plantings on 106.7 acres, a w ater control structure, emergent marsh plantings, in-water woody material, beaver fencing, and 3 years of maintenance. Maintenance includes watering, weeding and plant replacement based upon achieving the success criteria. The water source may be from th e existing ponds on site or a contractor drilled well. The containerized plants will be Government furnished. Plant propagules to be planted include over 10,000 terrestrial deepot container grown seedlings, over 12,000 herbaceous treeband or super stubby container grown seedlings, and nearly 500 pole cuttings to be harvested and planted directly by the contractor. The grasses are all native and will include endomyccorhizal inoculum to the soil. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you first go to the Contracting Division Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil and register as a plan holder. Click on Sacramento, this takes you the page that shows all of the projects currently being advertised for the Sacramento District. Look for the Solicitation that you are interested in and click on it. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation, you are required to register for the plan hold ers list. Look for the blue bar that says, Solicitation Registration. Right below is a red bar that reads, Register for this Solicitation, click on it. The next page requires you to establish a user name and password. If you have previously accessed t he web page, you can gain access by entering your User Name and Password. If this is your first time, establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registeri ng your firm on our plan holders lists.
