- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for engineering and technical services for Submarine and Combat Control System training and trainers and laboratory development. Efforts will include systems engineering, certification testing, verification and validation, and configuration management in support of Trainer systems/programs. A 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (CPFF) with a total estimated level of effort of 82,000 hours is anticipated. Key labor categories include Project Manager II (900 hours/year), Systems Engineer III (3600 hours/year), and Engineer III (900 hours/year). Non key labor categories include Engineer II (3600 hours/year), Systems Engineer II (1800 hours/year), Configuration Management Spec II (200 hours/year), Computer Engineer II (1800 hours/year) and Word Processor (3600 hours/year). Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors are Personnel, Past Performance and Cost. Personnel and Past Performance are equal in importance. When combined, Personnel and Past Performance are significantly more important than Cost. A single award is planned. The solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted Basis. This is a follow on to contract N66604-99-D-0097 with ACS Defense Inc, Burlington, MA. NAICS: 541330/$23 million. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
