- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Service Agreement to Service and Maintenance Emergency Repairs four (4) Central Chillers Carrier 19XR Machines for fiscal year 2004, Bureau of Engraving and Printing is requested HOURLY CHARGE AND LABOR CHARGE for emergency or unscheduled repairs a flat charge for annual repairs, and a flat charge for quarterly repairs (charge per quarter times four (4) quarters). The Simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business (see numbered note 1) the applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 333415, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0043. The resulting purchase order shall be a not to exceed price billable at established rates for emergency or unscheduled repairs, a flat annual fee for those repairs performed annually, and a quarterly fee times four (4) for those repairs performed quarterly. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, NAICS code, business size status, and Duns number. Quotations are due October 17, 2003 by 2:30 P.M.
