Description

CORRECTION: Solicitation No. GS-02P-03-PIC-0031, for the construction of an automobile and truck maintenance repair shop at the GSA Center, Federal Drive, Road 28, Guaynabo, P. R. and previously published in the FedBizOpps on August 1, 2003 is hereby updated to inform prospective bidders that the effective October 1, contractors must be registered in the Central Contactor Registration. The CCR database enables prospective contractors to update their information in one place via a website (http://www.ccr.gov). Prospective contractors shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award of a contract or agreement (agreement" means basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchase agreement). The following clauses have been incorporated in Amendment No. 3 of the Solicitation, 52.204-6 Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number (Oct 2003), 52.406-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003), 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (Oct 2003). Due to time constraints, Amendment No. 3, will be distributed to prospective bidders that are present during the opening. Bidders that are not able to attend, who have been given access to the solicitation, will receive Amendment No. 3 via regular mail. Opening date will not been extended. Bidders that have sent their bid, by the opening date, on Monday, October 6, 2003, at 1:30 P.M., will be given the chance to return the signed acknowledgement to Amendment No. 3 by no later than close of business, 4:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2003. Prospective bidders are reminded that all Bid sets that have been distributed are to be returned by U.S. Mail or other carrier to the address specified in the bid documents. Return of the complete Solicitation Bid Set to the GSA is required by the Bid Opening due date.
