- Description
- Provide all labor, supplies, tools, materials, transportation, parts and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of miscellaneous trash, nonedible garbage, and construction material at the VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC, for the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004, with 2 one-year options to extend. Contractor shall furnish the necessary steel containers of the sizes as follows: 2 each 4-yard and 5 each 8-yard containers. These containers will require 2 pick ups weekly at varied schedules Monday through Friday. Contractor will also pick up a 35-yard container which is the property of the VA. Contractor to provide a 20-cubic yard dumpster/container for in-house yard debris and deliver to landfill and replace with an empty container. Approximately 150 cubic yards of trash and garbage will be accumulated daily and will require removal. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAIC Code is 56211 and the size standard is $10.5 million. The anticipated issue date is October 20, 2003. Request for hard copy solicitation and/or inquiries must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and will be accepted by fax at 478-274-5581. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL address. Interested parties are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
