- Description
- 1. The VASLCHCS seeks to contract for a Board Certified Neurosurgeon. Surgeons must be credentialed and privileged through the VASLCHCS before working at the medical center. 2. Neurosurgeons will perform surgery at the direction of the Manager, Specialty Care Surgical Provider Services (MSCSPS). MSCSPS will direct workload, determine surgical and clinical scheduling, evaluate clinical performance, and ensure that patient needs are met by the contractor. 3. The contractor will provide appropriate staff to perform surgery two days a week and run two Neurosurgery clinics. The total on-site committed days is 156. 4. The contractor will provide 24 hour call for emergent Neurosurgery. 5. The contractor will provide Neurosurgical consultation for inpatients and outpatients. EVALUATION FACTORS: 1. Technical compliance and qualifications 2. Past Performance. 3. Price Technical compliance/qualifications and past performance, when combined, are more important than price. The term of the contract is one base year and one option year. This action is issued competitively and is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS code is 621111.
