- This is a notice of the intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item, to be awarded to the Beckman Coulter Inc. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Description is as follows: Non-personal services. Provide all labor, materials, and transportation to perform preventative maintenance inspection (PMI?s), calibration, and all necessary remedial maintenance calls, on the government owned equipment: Coagulation Analyzer Model E1400C. Estimated period of performance 20 Oct 03 ? 30 Sep 03 (Base Year), 1 Oct 04 ? 30 Sep 05 (Option Year 1), 1 Oct 05 ? 30 Sep 06 (Option Year 2). If any other businesses are able to meet this need they must respond to this notice by 1600 CST on 10 Oct 03. If no responses are received be the above date, a sole source contract with the Beckman Coulter Inc. will be pursued.
