- NA Encoders, NSN 144001-092-1963, P/N 10252433-2 This will be a requirements contract with a base year and four option years. An estimated 40 each encoders for the Patriot Missile System will be ordered in the base year of the contract. An estimated 160 will be ordered in each of the four option years. The period of performance for the base year will begin 10/15/2003 ?????? 09/30/2004 followed by sequential option years. Orders will be issued as requirements materialize. Delivery will be within 6 months afte r award of an order. Destination will be Fort Bliss, Texas. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated c losing date. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurem ent, make contact with the firm listed. The RFQ will be issued to BEI Precision Systems and Space Division, 1100 Murphy Drive, Maumelle, AR, 72113-6139.
