PR ON: AX3Q0357AX, NSN: 3040-01-184-6233, PN: 406-001-024-107. Quantity: 80, applicable to the OH-58 D Airframe with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 80 each, 360 Da ys after Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 80 each, 240 DACA. Production Lead-time with Alternate II Clause is 80 each, 300 DACA. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Cage Code 97499, 600 E. Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX. 76053-8030, this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the quali fied source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify thems elves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dep endent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
