- NA The project consists of transportation services, loading and spreading equipment for hauling soil to various locations throughout Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA for maintenance/repair services of existing earth containment dikes and haul roads at Craney Isl and Dredge Material Area in Portsmouth, VA for the US Army Engineer District, Norfolk, Virginia. The contract duration is 365 calendar days for the Base Bid and 365 calendar days for each optional item, if exercised. The magnitude of the project is betwe en $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS Code 484220 applies. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is via the Inte rnet. The solicitation will not be issued in paper format. Notification of amendments may be made by facsimile, floppy disk, compact disk and/or postings to the Internet. The media selected for solicitation amendments shall be solely at the discretion o f the Government; accordingly, as separate notifications for each amendment may not be sent to planholders, bidders shall be responsible for monitoring the Internet for amendments. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award.
