Description
U S GEOLOGICAL SURVEY, PATUXENT WILDLIFE RESEARCH CENTER, LAUREL, MD is seeking sources for the following for The Developement of Breeding Bird Survey Data Entry And Web-Based Management Interfaces: (A) Web designer/web developer - must have at least 3 years of professional experience designing and creating interative web pages using html, java script, and Cold Fusion software; (B) Computer programmer - contractor must have a minimum of 3 years professional computer programming experience using Microsoft Transact SQL, Col Fusion, File Maker Pro, and MS Access, and general knowledge of FTP, PDF, email operations, and Windows operating system; (C) Experience with biological data bases and bilogical data desirable. Period of Performance: A timeline will be developed by the contractor and Patuxent staff. The timeline will include development time including contractor's beta testing and a final review/comment period for Patuxent and associated partners. The development time period may be a maximum of 12 months. During this time period the contractor will regularly report progress, which will include review of programming by the Government. Upon delivery of beta-tested product, the Government will have two months to beta test the products. The final live testing period will be 12 months in duration; contractor will provide support of web-interfaces and stand-alone program during this final 12 months of live testing after beta testing is complete. Contractor will correct programming errors and problems detected during this time period within 2 weeks of reported date. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is for this procurement is 518210. INTERESTED VENDORS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) (www.ccr.gov).
