- ISSUE DATE: 10/22/03. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to remove and replace overhead door in the Boat Maintenance Facility (BMF) at the USCG Group Woods Hole, Falmouth, Massachusetts (Barnstable County). The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing overhead door, guides, mechanism, motor, and associated wiring. Install new 8 inch x 6 inch x ? inch steel tubes on the exterior steel jambs for new exterior mounted door. Provide 26 foot wide by 24 foot high galvanized steel rolling door with 18 gauge slats and wind locks. Provide featheredge at bottom; new 3 hp, 3 phase gear head motor, 208 volt; minor cutting and fill-in of existing ribbed painted metal siding; electrical connection from existing panel box to new overhead door motor. Provide new safety switching and incidental related work. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. NAICS code is 238290. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 10/22/03. The due date for receipt of quotations is on or about 11/21/03. Award will be made based on best value to the government, price and past performance/quality to be considered.
