Description
The purpose of this modification to highlight the following additional innovative approaches and concepts: VOICE/DATA COMMUNICATION: Innovative communication approaches are sought for replacement or significant enhancement of current voice and data dissemination technologies. These concepts should be able to seamlessly integrate with existing legacy systems and newer technologies. The information exchange will enable voice and data flow among the agencies at federal, state and local levels between numerous agencies at various locations and security levels. Available technology will be obtained that will allow members of a large coordination center to effectively and efficiently exchange a myriad of voice and data information. AUTOMATED DECISION AIDS: Innovative approaches and concepts are sought to supplement and complement existing and future information systems. These aids should allow for the automation of the interagency process for target recognition and intent determination to assist decision makers and operators in determining the best course of action. The concepts should demonstrate both software and hardware solutions capable of integrating with existing interagency legacy systems and flexible to expand with new technology. INTELLIGENCE: Innovative approaches and concepts are sought to improve interagency information collection, analysis and dissemination. Information management system concepts should include facilitating the flow and accessibility of information between existing systems, decision makers and operators at all levels of decisions and actions.
