Description

NA This specification establishes a requirement for various replacements and upgrades o the Automatic Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS), Tandem based Manager Computer System, and Conveyor System located in Buildings 513 and 398 at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. This specification describes the replacements, upgrades, performance, software development, documentation, and training requirements. The contractor shall perform all installation, startup and integratio n testing on site at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. The ASRS provides timely support to work centers within the Nicholas Industrial Complex, providing necessary parts and assets to carry out their mission. This includes providing work-in process storage, kitting of parts, inventory control, and material transportation for these same shops. Normal depot ASRS operationss shall continue throughout the entire duration of the upgrade. This contract is sole-source procurement to H.K. Systems, Salt La ke City, UT. Any use, duplication, or disclosure of the software or supporting data for the upgrades are probhibited by H.K.systems. Vendor that recognizes this service and would like to be considered for future procurements and can probide duplication , or disclosure of the software or supporting data for the upgrades should submit technical literature for evaluation within 7 calendar days after this announcement. Only government approved vendors may be considered in future procurements. North American Industry Classification System is 811310. Size standard is 500 employees. . This solicitation will be issued electronically to H.K. Systems in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wi shing an electronic copy may download it by accessing the following address via the internet:http://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issued date is 30 Oct 03. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as wil l any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render r bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of same.
