Description

NA NSN: 3120-01-127-8980, Part Number 11826042. The item to procure is a Roller, Linear Rotary for the M240 Machine Gun, machined from E52100 and 4130 steel bar. Parts include ring, roller, stem, with an approximate size of .618 inches in length x .34 outsi de diameter. Heavy phosphate coating is required IAW MIL-DTL-16232. FOB is Destination. Requirements are 6,000 each. The proposed contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), with an estimated guaranteed minimum quantity o f 6,000 each. Estimated issue date is 31 October 2003. This action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY 04 requirement. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal, are instructed to complete the Non-Disclosure Agreement provided as an attachment to the solicitation and email it to devlinl@ria.army.mil. This agreement must be completed befor e the TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), company name, point of contact, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the so licitation has been released to the internet and the Non-Disclosure Agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the U.S. Government requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively within the U.S. and Canada. This so licitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the interene t: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as well as any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing l ist. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time se t for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
