Requested Delivery: JAN 2005, QTY 14 ea will be acquired. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Government does not have complete drawings/data available. The approximate response date will be 24 Nov 03. The anticipated award date is JAN 04. The approximate solicitation posting date 23 Oct 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: GENERAL ELECTRIC CINCINNATI, OH 45215. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is SOLE SOURCE TO: GENERAL ELECTRIC. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
