Description
The 45 Space Wing (45SW) plans to issue a solicitation for Nuclear Evaluation Software, Analytical, and Data Support. The request for information is to identify companies to provide support to accomplish their mission to gather chemical, photographic and isotopic data produced from remote laboratories, and perform evaluation and analysis. The contractor must demonstrate the capability to provide the following: (1) Intimate working knowledge of the nuclear fuel cycle; (2) Creation and maintenance of manipulation oversight software tools; (3) significant experience and maintenance capabilities with relational databases; (4) the current Oracle database associated with the process must be continuously populated and quality controlled prior to exploitation of the data; (5) Develo0pment of new analysis approaches to fully utilize available data, as well as identify additional data that can extend our ability differentiate between similar data sets; (6) significant statistical capabilities to create analytical tools and improve graphic data presentation; (7) technologies for data mining and for advanced pattern recognition; (8) software tools and applications to analyze large data sets with the goal of identifying patterns indicative of specific processes (plotting and visual tools are a must); (9) tools must be able to provide results in a fast and thorough manner; (10) develop and implement a plan of exploitation for morphological data and create/maintain tools for analysis; (11) that program requirements are not stagnant?it is anticipated that the mission will continue to evolve, generating new requirements for data evaluation and reporting; (12) ORACLE TM, networking, firmware, Configuration, Windows TM and Unix experience is necessary; (13) Security clearances are required for this task; (14) identify state of the art practices and technologies for image exploitation which include analysis, classification, storage, and retrieval of particle images; (15) provide process and tools for automated data reporting, coordination, and tracking; (16) Familiarity of SAS TM Enterprise and Insight tools for data retrieval, exploitation, and plotting.
