Description

The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation to perform Grounds Maintenance and Snow/Ice Removal Services at Andrews Air Force Base, Davidsonville and Brandywine, MD. Dollar magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform effective grounds maintenance and snow/ice removal. The proposed period of performance period will consist of a base year and four option periods of 12 months each to start 15 days after award of contract. Solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Oct 03. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. A mandatory site visit will be conducted on or about 28 Oct 03 at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. Please call SSgt Hiyasmin Gratil to RSVP and to get further instructions. The procurement is 100% Small-Business Set-aside, NAICS code is 541320 with a Size Standard of $6.0M in average annual gross receipts. Services will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The RFP will be posted via the Internet at www.eps.gov. Interested parties must obtain copies of the RFP from the Internet; no copies will be mailed. Telephone requests will not be honored.
