- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a draft solicitation N00024-03-R-4407 for advance planning and accomplishment of the Non Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities for certain hull specific ships for DDG 51 Class ships homeported in Norfolk, Virginia and Mayport, Florida regions. The SRAs package will include planning, availability execution and continuous/emergent maintenance. Ships in the SRA package will be separated into three lots consisting of 1) Both Norfolk and Mayport, 2) Norfolk, Virginia only, and 3) Mayport, Florida only. Offerers will be allowed to propose on Lot I, Lot II and Lot III; however offerors that submit a proposal for Lot I must submit a proposal on Lot II. A cost plus award fee contract is contemplated. The Navy intends to exclude the successful offeror of this solicitation from consideration of a contract resulting from N AVSEA solicitation number N00024-03-R-4406 for DDG 51 Class Dry-docking Selected Restricted availabilities. The draft solicitation will be issued for comment and posted electronically under its solicitation number on or about 17 October 2003 at the following web site: http://www.eps.gov . *****
