- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is soliciting proposals on an unrestricted basis from responsible sources for award of up to eight (8) firm-fixed price contracts for Religious Services Programs required at 8 Service Processing Centers. This requirement consists of a base period of one year and four possible one-year option periods. The primary goal of this requirement is to provide detainees access to structured and consistent religious opportunity, have a representative on-site for religious activities and concerns, and enhance overall site religious program quality. Religious Service Programs are required at the following eight (8) locations: 1. Batavia, NY, 2. Miami, FL, 3. San Juan, PR, 4. Los Fresnos, TX, 5. San Pedro, CA, 6. Florence, AZ, 7. El Centro, CA, 8. El Paso, TX. Offerors may submit a proposal for one, multiple or all locations, however, a single point of contact fully responsible for operations must be designated for each location. Services are scheduled to begin May 1, 2004. DHS anticipates releasing a solicitation for this requirement on or about October 16, 2003. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 813110. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished primarily through the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the GSA site.
