- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) proposes to contract a dockside repairs of the USCGC MELLON (WHEC 717), 378 endurance cutter, home moorage in Seattle, WA. Refer to the sources sought notice for HubZone Set-Aside under solicitation DTCG85-04-B-001001 issued 23 June 2003. This procurement will be a HubZone set-aside. The performance period starting 24 February 2004 and ends 16 April 2004. The work items include but not limited to: tanks (aviation fuel service) clean and inspect, tanks (aviation fuel stowage) clean and inspect, voids (accessible) clean and inspect, boiler exhaust stack uptake commercial clean, breakers (degaussing) inspect and test, inspect and test circuit breakers, 60 HZ, inspect and test ic switchboard & 400 HZ circuit breakers, critical vent fans overhaul, vent ducts commercial cleaning (engine and motor rooms), vent ducts commercial cleaning (galley and pantry), vent ducts commercial cleaning (laundry exhaust), ventilation ducts (all other) commercial cleaning, magazine sprinkler valves (<2.5 inches) overhaul, magazine sprinkler valves, >2.5 inches, overhaul, evaporators (general) overhaul, evaporator pumps replacement, steam isolation valve overhaul (greater than 2.5 inches), commissary hoist level 2 inspection and test, grey water holding tank(s) clean & inspect, sewage holding tank clean & inspect, sewage vacuum collection & sealwater tanks clean and inspect. All responsive HubZone sources may submit an bid, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
