- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) will issue a sole-source extension for 2-1/2 months from 16 Dec 03 through 29 Feb 04 to the AFTAC ASN contract, DCA200-99-C-0020. The sole-source extension is required to allow for implementation of circuits under the replacement contract. The requirements for this extension can only be met by the contractor for DCA200-99-C-0020. The contractor is CACI, Inc. - Federal, 14200 Park Meadow Drive, Suite 200, Chantilly, VA 20151. AFTAC ASN supports global data transmission requirements to Patrick AFB, FL. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This contract action continues to allow time for the implementation of services under the replacement contract. See Numbered Note 22.
