- Description
- The contractor will harvest designated trees, treat resultant slash, perform associated erosion control and other close out work as described in the contract and keep residual damage in the research plots to a minimum. The contractor shall develop a plan to accomplish these objectives, organize and direct all equipment and personnel required to accomplish the work. The project is located on the Peaks Ranger District, Coconino National Forest approximately 7 miles Northwest of Flagstaff. Project area can be accessed by taking Highway 180 North from Flagstaff, turn North on Snowbowl Road, ? mile. Taylor Woods is located on the West side of the road. Legal Description: Located in all or portions of T22N R6E, S. 23. G&SRB&M, Coconino County, Arizona. Within Taylor Woods there are 18 long term research plots, each plot is about .75 to 1.25 acres in size. The plots will be thinned to residual basal areas (BA) ranging from 150 BA to 40 BA.
