Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41804-0084 for the provision of Medical Data Entry Clerk Services for the United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute, Indiana. The Clerk working under the contract must have the appropriate educational and experience qualifications commensurate with the job responsibilities. The duties shall consist of entering medical and financial data into various programs. Processing of accounts payable invoices for outside hospitalization and services. Processing of public vouchers for contractual services, medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals. Preparation of reports including general meeting minutes, financial reports, and memorandums. It is estimated the contract will include 1560 sessions per year. Each session is one(1) hour. The contractor will work approximately 30 hours per week. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about October 30, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is December 1, 2003. The solicitation is a small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered
