- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is provided in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(i). The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, TX intends to negotiate sole source with ASG Federal, Inc. for continued annual software maintenance support for their proprietary software products, SmartTest, SmartEdit and DBOL Interactive Data Manipulation Language for IDMS/R. No other source is available to provide maintenance support of the proprietary software. The period of performance is FY 2004 (10/1/03 through 9/30/04). Software maintenance includes providing software updates, releases and reasonable technical support. The award will be made as a commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12 using FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 13.501.
