Description

Request purchase of an estimated amount of 3,072,000 cubic feet of Propellant Hydrogen Gas, Type 1. 99.5 Percent Pure to be delivered on an "As Called" Basis to Bldg 142, Plating Shop, Robins AFB GA. The hydrogen needs to be in 12 cylinder bank cradles. This acquisition is set aside 100% to small businesses. Contractor must be able to deliver within 8 hours. Chemical must be licensed and approved for use at Robins AFB with the Hazmat/EM Facility. For approval contact Cathy Gill at (478) 926-3247 or fax (478) 926-3340. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items). IAW Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors. Written Procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3590. The approximate issue/response date is 24 Oct 03. The anticipated award will be 30 Oct 03. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. All contractors have to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for a government award.
