- NA The U. S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract to Unholtz Dickie Corp., Wallingford, Connecticut. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of the Interior's Franchise Fund on behalf of the Redstone Technical Test Center (RTTC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The RTTC has a requirement for the acquisition of a High Efficiency, High Power Amplifier System to be configured to an existing Vibration System used to perform shock and vibration tests. This procurement is for one Class D Power Amplifier and supporting equipment as follows: Model SAI240, (1) 240 KVA Class D High Efficiency Power Amplifier; Model SAI240DCF (1) Shaker DC Field Supply, Air Cooled; Model RCSA240 (1) Remote Control Panel; 550 Feet Remote Control Cable; Two day on-site startup and training. The required power amplifier modules must be 100 percent compatible with existing Unholtz-Dickie Class D 30 KVA amplifier modules. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all information and/or capabilities received by 4:30 p.m. EST within 5 working days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
