This will be a firm-fixed price supply type indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a single award for all items. Delivery turnaround time to the customer, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA, must be 30 days or less. The Contractor shall provide all services, including labor, materials, facilities, and delivery to the government destination (FOB destination). The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, will be utilized. Additionally, all items are required to have the local Command?s logo affixed onto a specified place on each item ordered. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about October 31, 2003, with offers due on or about November 13, 2003. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this web-site (WinZIP or other unzipping software is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. Interested parties may utilize www.fedbizopps.gov and request an E-mail notification by clicking on the ?FedBizOpps Vendor? tab then ?Acquisition Notification service? then ?register to receive notification by solicitation number.? By registering with this service, you should receive notification as to when the solicitation has been uploaded to the NECO web-site. PLEASE NOTE: FISC PUGET SOUND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THIS NOTICE. OFFERORS ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION ON THE NECO WEBSITE. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "carol_j_hahn@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted only in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO web-site. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
