Description

The Contracting Office of the Space and Naval Warfare Information Technology Center (SPAWARINFOTECHCEN), New Orleans, Louisiana, will be soliciting proposals for an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study for Business and Administrative Support at the SPAWARINFOTECHCEN. This synopsis is for Business and Administrative Support. The requirement includes providing all resources and management necessary to perform Business and Administrative Support. The major functional areas include Administrative Support, Comptroller Support, Personnel and Manpower Management, Safety Management, Personnel Security, and Logistics Support. The performance period includes a sixty-day Phase-In Period followed by a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Proposal evaluation will be in accordance with the procedures set forth in OMB Circular A-76 and Section M of the solicitation. The study will determine if it is more economical to contract out the functions to the private sector or to retain the fundctions within the federal workforce. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The projected date for solicitation issuance is 30 October 2003. The draft solicitation is attached.
