- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Colonial Parking, Inc., 1050 Thomas Jefferson St., NW, Ste 100, Washington, DC 20007, for rental of 13 parking spaces, for the period 10/01/2003 through 09/30/2004, at 500 N. Capital St., NW, Washington, DC 20036. Government employees will use these spaces to park Government-owned vehicles. The parking garage shall be accessible to the Government employees 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, at a moments notice. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Services are being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. Written response to this synopsis should be received within 5 days of this announcement, and should include sufficient documentation to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Documentation must establish that you have parking facilities accessible to IRS at a moments notice and will accommodate IRS needs. Written response will be used to determine if this acquisition will be made competitive. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
