- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 4ME4A201is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is a sole source to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. 2655 Seeley Avenue, BLDG 9, San Jose, CA 95134. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. Set-aside: none; associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210; small business size standard: $18 Million. Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program: not applicable. Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-A7. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items applies, with the following specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision: Product offered, price, past performance. This requirement is for software upgrades, support, and factory training in accordance with the Performance Specification 04-4A2 and Appendix A Product numbers consisting of Virtuoso (R) Schematic Composer (4 Each), Virtuoso (R) Layout Editor (2 Each), Virtuoso (R) XL Layout Editor (2 Each), Spectre (R) Circuit Simulator (1 Each), Cadence (R) Analog Design Environment (2 Each), Diva (R) Physical Verification (1 Each), Dracula (R) Graphical User Interface (1 Each), and 250 Cadence Training Credits. The date and time offers are due: 3 Nov 2003, 1:00 pm Pacific time to DMEA, Contracting Office, 4234 54th Street, McClellan, CA 95652-2100.
