- Description
- The National Library of Medicine (NLM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with American Medical Informatics Association for the professional services for the MedInfo 2004 meeting. The contractor is organizing and supporting the upcoming MedInfo 2004 meeting. They will be working with the MedInfo 2004 organizing committee and will be handling all administrative support and finances for the meeting. Any other source would not be able to meet NLM's needs. The period of performance is one year, October 27, 2003, through September 10, 2004. This service will be procured under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible and responsive sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide the professional technical services as specified above. Responses should demonstrate the firm?s ability to meet the government's requirements. Responses are required within 10 (ten) calendar days from the publication date of this notice.
