- Item: 0001 QTY 64 EA. Noun: CONTAINER ASSEMBLY, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, FURNISHED EMPTY. NSN: 1680-00-227-1841. P/N: 30400003. Applicable to: UH-1. Description: Fire extinguisher container assembly to be furnished empty without the Halon 1301 Extinguishing Agent. Destination: DODAAC SW3113, Cherry Point NC. Required Delivery Date: November 2004. NOTE: New, unused surplus and used/overhauled surplus is acceptable and will be solicited. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. To SOLE SOURCE: Pacific Scientific Co, CAGE 05167. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only those sources that have met the qualification requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms listed.
