- Description
- Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC) would like to identify interested parties for an international commercial express small package service program for the United States federal government. Express service includes time-definite, door-to-door pick-up and delivery, transportation, in-transit visibility (ITV), PowerTrack participation, and expedited customs processing and clearance of extremely urgent letters and small packages. Interested parties shall be members of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a base period (e.g., 1 Oct 2004 - 30 Sep 2005), with two (possibly up to four) one-year options. Interested CRAF carriers are requested to submit a statement demonstrating their capability to perform the responsibilities listed above. Responses are limited to three pages, shall be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format, shall identify their business size and whether designated a Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business and/or Women-Owned Small Business (FAR 19.1, http://farsite.hill.af.mil/, defines the size standards of a small business), and may include a description of the company and its experiences relative to the performance of this or similar services. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 4513 has been determined applicable to this requirement.
