- NA This is a market survey requesting information only. No solicitation will be issued against this notice. This survey is also issued IAW the requirement of FAR Part 10 to determine the applicability of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. See Not e 26. Interested sources with experience in similar/compatible projects or programs should provide supporting documentation to: PM TIMS, SFAE-IEW&S-NS-TIMS (MAJ Wallington), Avenue of Memories - Building 563, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703. This announcement is to assess interest only. Please keep abstracts BRIEF. Abstract shall include description of the idea/concept and provide performance characteristics. Information desired includes type of data provided, vertical resolution, maximum altitude, data accur acy and revisit rates. For existing devices approximate cost and availability, size, weight and power requirements should be provided. For near term developmental items, estimates of expected data output and physical characteristics should be provided as well as estimates of effort needed to complete development of the technologies. Any known limitations of the devices or technology should be discussed. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3, the Government does not intend to award a contract on the bas is of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Once the information requested is received and evaluated, an acquisition strategy will be developed.
