A contract will not be awarded from this announcement and no reimbursements for cost associated with attendance or preparation for the meeting are anticipated. The Government intends to hos t an Aerial Common Sensor (ACS) Industry Day, on 22 October 03, to rovide industry a briefing on the planned acquisition of the ACS multi-intelligence program, further guidance on planned procedures and tools, and refinement of draft Navy requirements for the ACS. The Government continues to solicit feedback from industry for use in defining a strategy for executing this modernization program. Part of the ACS Industry Day will be devoted to one-on-one sessions with Industry. The intent of the Government is to focus the one-on-one sessions to Government-Industry discussions on the acquisition strategy, methods for the Government to provide meaningful incentives, tools to use in an Integrated Data Environment (IDE), and dialogue of documents posted on the B OP. The Government does NOT view the one-on-one sessions as opportunities for Industry to present marketing pitches, but rather an opportunity to work with Industry to refine the acquisition strategy. The CECOM acquisition web site for ACS is maintained at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil and provides detailed information under solicitation number W15P7T-04-R-J401. A login Identification is required to access this site. Instructions for access are provided at the referenced web site. The conference is sc heduled for 0800 -1200 hours, 22 October 2003 at the Myer Center Auditorium, Myer Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J. Check-in will begin at 0730 Hours. Part of the scheduled briefings will be held at the Secret level. Additional time will be set aside for one- on-one meetings with Government representatives. Time allocations will be determined based on the number of requests for the one-on-one sessions and the schedule for these sessions will be provided at the morning session, 22 Oct 03. The PM intends to hon or one-on-one requests ONLY from bona fide potential prime contractors. The one-on-one sessions will be held in building 600, MacAfee Center, Fort Monmouth, NJ in order to accommodate discussions at the SCI level. All participants will need to pass the a ppropriate clearance information. Participants will be limited to those individuals whose clearances can be verified by the Government. Prime contractors are encouraged to include representatives of their Industry teammates. Intent is to start one-on-on e sessions at 1300 hours on 22 October 03, and continue until all requests are satisfied. Please include in the RSVP intent to request a one-on??????one session. Order of one-on-ones will be first come first served. Please limit requests for one-on-one sessions to one per Industry team. It is the intent of the PM ACS to conclude all such briefings on 22 October 2003. Proof of identity and appropriate clearances must be accomplished for any non-US citizen planning to attend ACS Industry Day. A non-US c itizen is required to send the Government a positive ID and Serial No. This must be coordinated through your corporate Facility Security Officer and faxed directly to the Government at (732) 427-5822, Attn: M.S. One-on-one sessions will be held at the conclusion of the morning briefings. Due to limited seating in th e one-on-one sessions, please limit your attendance to no more than ten (10) representatives per industry team. Reserve your attendance to Industry Day and submit request for one-on-one session by 16 October 2003.
