Description

Solicitation N68711-03-R-4302, A76 Commercial Activities Study for Environmental Services, will be issued on or before 16 October 2003. The Step 1 proposal conference will be held at Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, 1220 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92132-5187, on October 22, 2003. The conference will begin at 1:00 PM PST, in the Command Conference Room, 2nd Floor of Bldg 127. Registration will be from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM with the conference convening immediately thereafter. The Step I pre-proposal conference is anticipated to last approximately three (3) hours. The conference will provide prospective Offerors an overview of the Three-Step Process, an overview of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and the Request for Proposal, an overview of the Step I proposal submittal requirements, a question and answer session, concluding with an opportunity for interested prime contractors to hold informal discussions with potential subcontractors. All small businesses, women-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled owned small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, HUB Zone businesses and other, including potential prime contactors, are strongly encouraged to attend. Potential prime contractors are requested to bring qualification packages to distribute to potential subcontractors. Seating is limited so it is recommended that only two (2) representative per firm attend the conference. To register to attend the conference, interested parties shall submit the names, phone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses of the attendees to the e-mail address provided, by close of business on 20 October 2003. Offerors are encouraged to submit written questions prior to or during the conference on any aspect of the solicitation.
