- Description
- INTENT TO AWARD: The USDA Service Center Modernization Initiative (SCMI) intends to award additional hours and additional Technical Account Manager (TAM) services for an existing Microsoft Premier Support Services (PSS) agreement (which covers services through 2/18/04). The PSS will include the following additional Technical Account Manager (TAM) services: Up to an estimated additional 1,000 hours of a TAM?s time (for proactive, technical consulting and account management services; TAM hours can be used for support consulting, supportability reviews, remote diagnosis and debug, multi-vendor coordination); and an estimated 2 additional TAM on-site visits (up to two days), North American location only. There is a potential for additional hours and on-site visits beyond what is estimated during the period of performance ending 2/18/04. The NRCS Information Technology Acquisition Team (ITAT) intends to award this requirement to Microsoft Corporation under the authority of 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Interested parties must be Microsoft-authorized and certified Premier Support Services providers. Certification from Microsoft will need to be provided by any interested party. Payment for these services will be made IN ARREARS. This notice of intent to award is not a request for quotations or proposals. However, all responses received within 10 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
