Description
The 38 Engineering Installation Group has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 313 RCS/RSSL, Recruiter Sites in N Syracuse, Geneva, Horseheads, Hornell, Utica, New Hartford, Rome, Oneonta, Vestal, Cortland, Potsdam, Oswego, Watertown, Hamburg, Olean, Williamsville, Batavia, Tonawanda, Lockport, Cheektowanga, Queensbury, Niskayuna, Plattsburg, Albany, Saratoga, Green Island, Williamsville, Syracuse, Mattydale, Buffalo, Newburgh, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Peekskill, Nanuet, and Mt Vernon NY. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by New York State Public Service Commission shall provide local commercial communications service for Recruiter sites in PA associated with 313 RCS/RSSL, N Syracuse NY. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, analog subscriber lines, analog trunks, transport channel services, directory number and number portability, emergency 9-1-1 service, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAIC 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Quote (RFQ) offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. When you arrive at this site locate Communication Service Authorizations and select Formal RFPs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
