Description: NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contract for the Maintenance, Repair, Minor Construction and Operation of Hartwell Lake, Dam, and Powerplant, Hartwell, Georgia, and the Clemson Pumping Station, Clemson, South Carolina. Work to be performed inc ludes, but is not limited to, cleaning services; gate attendant services; electrical, water, sewage, and mechanical work; landscaping; repair and maintenance of Government vehicles and equipment; maintenance of communication equipment, maintenance of earth en dams, dikes, riprap, ramps, beaches, berms, bulkhead walls, and impact sites; maintenance of signs, barricades, gates, wheel stops, posts, and fences; maintenance and repair of walkways, roads, and parking areas; maintenance of wildlife openings and nes ting boxes; boundary line maintenance; minor construction and shoreline stabilization; refuse removal; herbiciding; and emergency spill response. Procurement of these services will result in a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee type contract. The anticipated period of performance will begin on 1 November 2004 and continue until 31 October 2005, with four additional one-year option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business under NAICS 561210, Facilities Support Services. The size standard for this NAICS is $23.0M. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) that will be evaluated using best value methods. Potential offerors are reminded to pay particular attention to the evaluation and award criteria set forth in Section L and Section M of the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Interested parties must register at the following web site to download a solicitation package: http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil. Other methods of requesting a package will no t be honored. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this web site for downloading.
