Description
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to increase the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract N00019-02-D-3067 ceiling with AgustaWestland Inc. to $48,500,000.00. The scope of the IDIQ contract is for the procurement of supplies, technical and logistics support services necessary to support the maintenance of Egyptian Air Force H-3 Helicopters for which Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) have been executed. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). GENERAL INFORMATION: AgustaWestland is the OEM and is the only source with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce, repair or overhaul the parts. AgustaWestland is the sole design authority of the EAF Commando Mk1 and Mk2 helicopters and the U.S. Navy does not have in-house expertise in the areas where the helicopter defers from the H-3. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from AgustaWestland Inc., 1601 N. Kent Street, Suite 1013, Arlington, VA 22209. There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a delivery order for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted. POC for this synopsis is the Procuring Contracting Officer, Michael Rod Powell-Salas. Responses to this synopsis should be sent by fax to (301) 757-8988 or by email to Michael.Powell-Salas@navy.mil.
