- Description
- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is soliciting quotations for the removal, transport and proper disposal of radioactive waste from the Chicago Health Care System, VAMC West Side and Lakeside Divisions, Chicago, Illinois. Contractor must have current issued EPA, State and Federal Licenses for the State of Illinois and disposal state site required for this type of service. As further defined in the RFQ, services shall be performed in accordance with (CFR) 40 & 49, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), 10CFR, State of Illinois, Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety, 32 IL Administrative Code, State of South Carolina or any state regulations covering transport, and radioactive waste site disposal requirements. The successful contractor will be required to provide evidence of compliance with 32 IL Administrative Code. This procurement is unrestricted and is for the period beginning from date of award through September 30, 2004 plus four (4) option renewal periods. NAICS: 562211.
