Item 0001, New Manufacture. NSN: 2840-01-147-0463JF, P/N: 9980M70G05. LINER, EXHAUST DUCT. Applicable to: F101 Engine. Destination Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: FEB 05, a quantity between 10 and 23 ea will be acquired. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award. At this time the Government?s BEQ is 19 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited. (10-14 ea), (15-19 ea) and (20-23). Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or http://farsite.hill.af.mil/reghtml/regs/far2afmcfars/fardfars/far/47.htmmanufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered approved sourced for this item. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Government does not have complete drawings/data available. The approximate issue date for solicitation will be 30 Oct 03. The approximate solicitation response date is 29 Nov 03. The anticipated award date will be 31 Dec 03. Electronic solicitation procedures will be used for this solicitation. To: General Electric Company, Cincinnati, OH 45215-1915; Barnes Group, Inc Ogden, UT 84402-0000; Turbocombustor Technology Inc. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
