Description

An award of a sole source contract to Patterson Consulting is being considered as a follow-on to an existing contract for the management of a Cost Comparison Study. The contractor will be a single point of contact within the 301st Fighter Wing for all Air Force matters concerning the A-76 study. This study contains requirements for knowledge of Reserve operations, unique in that organizations such as supply, petroleum oil and lubricants (POL) and transportation are run by civilians (or contractors) during the week and by reservists during the weekend. The contractor is responsible for developing procedures that allow reservists to operate the BOS function on the weekend and to work within the Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Most Effective Organization (MEO) during the week. The contractor must possess a secret clearance and have extensive knowledge of joint Reserve operations. The contractor shall furnish professional nonpersonal service labor, management, and supervision for assigned tasks to be accomplished. The contractor will develop and publish minutes of all meetings, and maintain a record of the entire A-76 process.
