- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey requires the following BRAND NAME OR EQUAL items. (1) Kinemetrics model K2 12-channel digital accelerograph, with GPS receiver and antenna including min. 75' coaxial cable, 32MB flash memory card, NO INTERNAL SENSORS, modem-ready, qty 2 each. (2) Kinemetrics model K2 6-channel digital accelerograph, with GPS receiver and antenna including min. 75' coaxial cable, 32MB flash memory card, INTERNAL triaxial 2-g Episensor accelerometer, modem-ready, qty 3 each. (3) Uniaxial 2-g Episensor accelerometer, model ESU, qty 6 each. (4) Triaxial 2-g Episensor accelerometer model EST, qty 6 each. (5) Kinemetrics model Etna, 3-channel digital accelerograph, with GPS receiver and antenna including min. 75' coaxial cable, 16MB flash memory card, INTERNAL triaxial 2-g Episensor accelerometer, modem-ready, qty 38 each. Delivery by 11/30/2003 to Fresno, CA. The USGS will install the instruments in VA hospitals throughout the US in order to upgrade existing analog instrumentation in the Department of Veterans Affairs-owned, USGS-operated strong-motion network. Vendors offering items other than the exact parts named above may be asked to provide technical literature showing equivalency. RFQ will be issued on or about 10/24/03.
