- Description
- The work includes demolition of existing guardhouse, erosion and sediment control, grading, utility work, pavement, security improvements, anti-terrosim force protection appurtenances, new guardhouse, canopy covering traffic lanes, elevated firing position, cable reinforced fencing, active and passive barriers, drop arm barriers, entrance area lighting and incidental related work. The solicitation will be available on the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website via the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Documents will be available for downloading on or about 05 November 2003. Contractors must register for the solicitation before downloading from the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website. Registered contractors will be notified by email when amendments to the solicitation are issued. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 237990 with an Annual Size Standard of $27,500,000.00. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. If the low offerer is a Large Business, a Small Business Subcontracting Plan will be required.
