- ** PREVIOUSLY LISTED UNDER SOLICITATION # N62678-03-R-0057** Provide management, administration and production services, materials, tools, equipment, and required support to disconnect and remove from US Navy Ships AC/DC Motors and Motor Generator (MG) Sets. Transport removed equipment to contractor's shop, disassemble, clean, inspect, and report conditions found. As directed by the Government, recondition subject AC/DC Motors and Motor Generator Sets; which may include repairs to motors, motor generator sets, shafts, end bells, balancing shaft rotating assemblies, and rewind of coils and armatures. Reconditioning may require replacement with new parts in lieu of repair. Upon completion of recondition of AC/DC Motors and Motor Generator Sets; transport to ship, reinstall, adjust, and operational test. This will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm fixed price co ntract. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. Performance of work will be on U.S. Naval Ships and other military vessels and may be accomplished worldwide. Award will be based on best value procurement utilizing past performance and price as evaluation factors. This procurement is not restricted to MSRA/ABR contractors.
